Let’s open up the listing of topics that we’ve discussed previously on possible rule changes.
I’ll take the topics that we need to discuss into individual threads for those discussions, and then when we’ve decided which changes should be made and wordsmith the rule if needed, then I’ll open a poll thread to vote on the rule.
2 of the predominant topics have been:
1) Change D starting requirements to 2-3 DTs 2 DEs 1-3 LBs 2-3 Ss 2-3 CBs to account for mfl’s move to the DL/Edge position alignments while maintaining the DT/DE designation.
2) Make FA $ transferrable (able to be traded).
Any other items that we want to take a look at?

I'll wait until I'm here at least a year before I suggest a rule change. Never liked it when someone joins a league and then wants to change everything.(why did they join then if they didn't like the rules) If asked about a specific change I'll add my limited 2 cents but don't feel being a nube I should start a change.

I might be on an island unto myself here but I think tanking should be defined and a measure established to prevent
I was 💯 frustrated with BB as Commish last season. Starting no QB for weeks when it literally would have take someone 15 min to go out and get one, meanwhile some of us started QBs who scored negative points those weeks, seems against the spirit of the league. My opinion only!
Not sure what the answer is. But I know what occurred last season ain’t it!
“I don’t have a starting QB so I am going to put it on everyone else in the league to send me an offer” is not managing your team. And did yield the result of him winning the Caleb lottery.

I agree with Def, the tanking thing was ridiculous. I was able to trade for a QB because both my starters were on a bye week but the previous owner made little or no effort.
On another note one of the teams in the playoffs last year had 49 players on their active roster. I dont want to be the league snitch, can we have hard roster limits set so that doesnt happen?

There was more going on behind the scenes with Darky than at least some owners know. I’ll admit to giving him too much leash. I missed the roster overage at the end completely and probably need to implement hard roster limits when the season starts now that this has happened. Overages have been a problem at times when we get to offseason cuts but haven’t been a problem in season except for very rare instances that got corrected quickly. With hard roster limits there won’t be a one day leeway when we run waivers - it’ll have to be a one to one exchange when waivers run or owners won’t get the players they bid on if FA acquisitions put them over the limit.

Is there an option to prevent owners from submitting their lineup if they are over the roster limit?
That would be a way to get around having to go with hard limits.

Yes that’s how I thought we did it. That’s how I do it in my local. What’s the point of seeding then ? I’m down to only 2 leagues so I don’t know what the rest of the world is doing 😃

I’m not sure it will give the higher seed an edge. You rather not play the hot team, and sometimes that’s a lower seed.

Oh wanted to mention this earlier but forgot.
For the draft why not allow us to draft free agents as well as rookies? I mean by round 5 im throwing darts at players ive never heard of. Would make it a little more interesting.
