Currently, we only allow players who are placed on IR in the NFL (and so designated on the site) to be placed onto IR. However, once placed on IR the player has to remain there for the balance of the season (or be cut).
The NFL has moved towards more of the baseball model where a player may go onto IR for a period of time, but then get called back up.
Issue 1: Should we allow players to be called back up from IR?
Issue 2: If yes, should they be forced to be called back up from IR or can the player stay on IR as long as the owner wishes? (If you vote for forced to be called up, the rule would be the only players that could be on IR would HAVE to have the IR designation next to their name)
Issue 3: If yes to #1, should we keep the IR at 5 players or should it be reduced?
Let me know if I missed anything.

This was more to make it easier so the site could govern it and not the commissioner & other league members, not necessarily for eligibility.

I would love to add this feature given the NFL's rules...but G is right, might be really hard to govern. Maybe they could go on but once the IR or OUT designations stop they have to be activated or cut within 7 days? We could just police ourselves if guys are breaking the rules?
