Probably would be helpful to clearly state here the rules for preseason waivers and FCFS. Here's what I understand them to be: Waivers will run at 2:00 pm ET on Wednesday, Sep. 7. Teams can acquire up to 2 players through waivers. Teams must immediately cut down to the 42 player limit. First Come First Serve waivers opens at 7:00 pm ET on Thursday, Sep. 8. Teams are limited to 2 FCFS acquisitions, MINUS any acquisitions they did through waivers the day before.
So the preseason free agent period limits all teams to two total acquisitions. Is that right?

is limiting it to 2 just an offseason thing or is there a limit during midseason pickups as well?

The league settings appear to be 2 on waivers per week and unlimited FCFS but I don't think that's right.

Historically, it was 2 waivers and 1 FCFS, but it was changed to unlimited FCFS due to covid... not sure what we are doing this year

out of curiosity, what's the logic behind limiting it to 1 per week? I'm not opposed, just don't get why we would limit it.
