If we do a random drawing for a 2021 snake draft, then we need to prevent 2021 picks being traded until we decide to or not to do that. I concur here. I think we should freeze trading of all future draft picks until this contingency is agreed to, and it also needs to be decided before our rookie draft starts.

I think we should freeze trading of all future draft picks until this contingency is agreed to, and it also needs to be decided before our rookie draft starts. Actually, now that I think of it, it might not matter. Greeney and McFadden's have already traded 2021 picks: Little Giants gave up Gronkowski, Rob TBB TE; Year 2021 Round 2 Draft Pick from Little Giants McFadden's Bar & Grille gave up Year 2021 Round 1 Draft Pick from McFadden's Bar & Grille So, if Greeney ends up with the the #1 pick and McFadden's ends up with the #24 pick, then Greeney with get pick #24 and McFadden's will get pick #48 (if we do a snake) If it is flipped, then Greeney will get the #1 pick and McFaddens with the #25 pick. Best case for Greeney: He gets #1 and McFaddens gets #2, so he ends up with 1, 2 and McFadden's ends with 47, 48. Best case for McFaddens: He gets #23 and Greeney gets #24, so he ends up with 24, 25, and Greeney gets 23, 26 and loses Gronk. So it is basically something to think about when trading 2021 picks.

You can definitely do it either way. But I think knowing generally (business as usual with an NFL season) or specifically (contingency if there is no NFL season) where you will pick in 2021 is a better outcome then trading or acquiring assets that are more unknown (i.e. the first round pick you're trading/acquiring could be anywhere from 1 to 24). But, yeah, as long as everyone is on the same page about the unknown, it doesnt really matter. Also, your best case for McFaddens in that scenario should be that he ends up with 25, 26 and Greeney gets 23, 24.

Potential Worst Case Scenario: We simulate a 2020 Madden season. Run the week by week matchups and see where everyone finishes. The winner does not get crowned champion, but we use that to decide 2021 draft order.

I kinda' want to do it regardless of how the 2020 season plays out. rg

Guys, the madden option, obviously, isnt a real.suggestion since 6 teams dont have QBs, there are no OL in our league, plus many more variables. It was a playful and fun suggestion. Please don't go further down that rabbit hole.

Please don't go further down that rabbit hole. I get that... but if there ends up not being an NFL season, it would at least be entertaining. Can you trade players on Madden? If so, then I would say if you have a QB, then you get the OL with that QB. I guess you could also have the P that goes with the PK that you have. As far as QBs, guys don't have NFL starting QBs, but they have QBs, so they would be their starters on their Madden team.
