Our goal this offseason has been to get younger -
We have now added:
QB Jamarcus Russell (hopefully will be a good FF producer once Hasselbeck is done next season or the season after) RB Marshawn Lynch (once he returns from suspension) WR Darrius Heyward-Bey
At some point this season we will likely move RB Steven Jackson, WR Santana Moss, and TEs Gates and Gonzo.
Feel free to send offers. Young talent (esp at WR) and/or early picks are what we are looking for...

So in a dynasty league, the soon to retire 35 year old Owens is worth more than Russell?

So in a dynasty league, the soon to retire 35 year old Owens is worth more than Russell? I don't expect Owens to last more than a couple years, but he should be very good this year, he usually is during his first season with a new team. Russell showed some signs of life towards the end of last year, but most of the year he was pretty putrid. In the end I had some depth at QB and with Matt Jones cut and not signed I needed some extra depth at WR. This was purely a short term gain play by me, we'll see if it works out or not.

Foos was already a front runner. Now he should have the team to beat this year. He traded a still unproven third year QB, third on his depth chart, for a WR that scores top twenty year in and out. Owens should play for at least two more years. By then Foos might catch up to out championship record
