Why are we drafting when we have an open spot for a new owner?
This is bizarre.
Oh, and we just realized we are on the clock for two. Will pick in a bit....

Will Beaker's wife be part of the deal?

He gets in free if she is.
But seriously, we need to get someone onboard before the draft goes much further.

Any word from Bronco Billy? I think we all agree that we need to replace the owner before we keep moving the draft forward, right?
So where on earth is our commish to chime in?

Chris, I would wait until we hear from BB. I think the picks already made must stand, since it wouild be unfair to change them now, but let's pause here.
I personally think we should wait until we replace the owner. Even though he's not picking until the third round, he should be able to participate. Even when we find someone, we should allow him some time to get acclimated to his team and the league.

I agree completely. Not trying to hold up the draft (we already know who we are taking with both picks) but moving on sans an owner seems ludicrous to me. Let's get someone and get this league whole again...

Posted at a couple of FF boards for a week. No interest so far - one response at the Huddle about the draft picks. Open to suggestions, guys.

I think an APB for interested owners is needed by everyone. I have a couple feelers out there, so we'll see.

In the FBG Looking for owners forum I found BB's post looking for owners a swell as one by Gringo. I have offered $20 to subsidize a new owner, as has BB. Maybe that will get some play.

Plunge offered to pay Bowb's entry out of the runner-up monies he has yet to receive if anyone can convince Bowbie to take the spot. I tried but Bowb didn't seem too interested...

FYI, as far as I'm concerned we could restart the draft as well.
I fucked it up.

I found someone who wants in. He was previously interested in an opening in Ironman 4 and lost out on a coin flip. He posted in a message board thread there, name was Master Yoda or something. Lives in Germany and seems like he'll be an active owner with seemingly plenty of experience.
I also had Schniz (OG Ironman owner) tell me he was interested too, so we have a backup.
Both guys have seen the rules and the team in question. I e-mailed Jay, so hopefully he gets back to the guy soon with details (MFL password, etc.).

Hello, I subscribed to the war room when a spot in the iron man 4 was open. I´m still looking for an interational dynasty league with some challenges. I´m admin of a german fantasy football site with more than 500 members and running the official 48-team dynasty league and the equivalent 48-team redraft league as commissioner (4 conferences each with own player pool). I´m also a long time member at footballguys and maybe someone remembers the good old fantasy asylum. I´m from munich, germany, but time difference should be no problem. I like the open team and it would be great to join you. Of course there would be some trades to do. Best regards, Manfred
