Would anyone like a 48 hour post draft window where any team can add any UDFA in a FCFS manner? Only caveat is Max roster size would be 55 players so if you drafted 13 players you would have to drop someone first. Like in the NFL where that happens directly after the draft.

No. Would severely undervalue the late round picks.

I like the idea somewhat, but I think Niall is right about the impact to late round picks.
I would need to hear more convincing pro-arguments to get on board even though I would generally love the ability to add more players after the draft.

I don’t hate the idea, but the cap of 55 sounds high to me. That would essentially mean that you everyone can add up to 13 players (assuming we all start the draft with the roster limit of 42). Personally, I’d rather see the cap at 50. Roster limit of 42, plus 1 pick in each of 8 rounds in the draft, equals 50 players. Obviously people trade draft picks and such, so perhaps this could allow people who didn’t rebuild through the draft to try to improve via “Undrafted free agents”. Essentially, if you used all 8 (or more) of your picks, you don’t likely need to grab from the leftovers. But if you only had 3-4 picks in the draft, you might still have some holes to fill (insert joke about your mom here). Just my thoughts on the matter.

'Would severely undervalue the late round picks' - if you want a player and don't want to leave it up to FCFS you still have to pick him and/or trade up/acquire a pick for him. Just like using your waiver pick before FCFS to better guarantee you getting that player.
After 192 picks from a rookie/FA draft and only given 48 hours to scramble add extra players, the talent pool is threadbare and any pick would be a shot in the dark. Don't see how late round picks would be devalued.
'but the cap of 55 sounds high to me' This number can always be adjusted, but you would assume the average roster size post draft would be 50. I would be okay with that number too as we all have a handful of players that were kept pre-draft that can be dropped immediately anyways
'I would need to hear more convincing pro-arguments to get on board' this is a dynasty league that wants to mirror the NFL. We even have cutdown days to mirror their cutdown days. The NFL opens the UDFA signing immediately after the draft and players that are added get drafted in this draft. So why not mirror one of their fun moments seeing players get added even though we all know most of them will be cut as rosters are dwindled? That would be the same here. Look at the FA's post draft and let me know how many will make a significant impact in camp that you will keep them by opening week.

I could be swayed either way on this one, but it definitely can't happen this year. This is something that would have to be in place before the draft started as it would affect what teams would do during the draft.

Frankly, I think it needs to be flushed out as an idea more and even then I’m not sure it would get the votes, but worth discussing further imo.
