How do we want to handle COVID holdouts this year?
Potential solutions are:
1. Immediate eligibility for IR, but not increase IR slots 2. Immediate eligibility for IR, but create X number of COVID only IR slots 3. Only eligible for IR after they are out for 2 weeks, just like anybody else. 4. You tell me

2.
I would recommend lowering IR spots to 4 and Holdout spots to 4. This gives us an extra 3 players.
I also say once on Hold out list, they can’t be moved (like IR) back yo main roster, even if they come back to league.

I was thinking as long as they have an H, they don't count at all, but you can't pick them up (if they are on your roster now, put them in covid squad)

5 extra spots for covid designation that you can put those on and reactivate when needed.
If the player has chosen to sit out the season, you carry them on your active roster or use a regular IR slot.

I was only thinking of those guys who have opted out for the season (D'onta Hightower for example). I hadn't considered the ones who may be quarantined for 2 weeks during the season.

MFL clearly differentiates between injured and out and COVID, so we will need some kind of roster flexibility. Especially those positions where some teams run just the bare minimum of players like DT or CB.

You should increase IR slots to 10 and allow holdouts and players in quarantine to be placed on IR without penalty. If a certain team has more issues than other they should be given more IR spots, no one should be penalized for this. Players should be able to come off IR when healthy too, that rule doesn’t make any sense to me.
